Aerobie 13"Nov 03, 2009 Love the Aerobie. I live by the beach so it was great that it came so quickly. Would buy from ths seller again.
The Frisbee that just keeps on goingNov 02, 2009 The Aerobie isn't something you should get if you only have a parking lot or a street to play with it in. You need a soccer field, or maybe even two. That's how far it goes. My favorite thing is that you can throw it with very little effor at all, and it will float up. I gave it four stars, because let's just say this isn't something you want to play ultimate frisbee with... unless the touchdown is in a different state.
Cheers!
aerobieJul 03, 2007 we received the aerobie in bad condition. It was bent and not a perfect circle. It remains in bad conditon and does not fly very well. I believe it is just a lemon because I have had other aerobies that flew great.
Great FlyerMar 12, 2007 This frisbie is great for anyone who cant throw a normal frisbie, (I'm one of those people). No matter how you throw it, it always seems to flatten out and go straight. This frisbie can really throw wickid far. My yard is about an acre and I can throw this from one end to the other.
Throwing is easy; catching is NOT!Feb 05, 2007 I've been using Aerobie products since the 1980's, and the Pro ring is widely considered their best. Incidentally, the current world record is even longer than mentioned above: 1,333 feet (set in 2003 by Erin Hemmings).
PROS: Easy to throw, deceptively easy to throw FAR ... much farther than you intend, unless you practice A LOT.
CONS: Unless you control launch angle JUST RIGHT, your friend will be running for days to catch it! Also, far worse than losing a ring in water, it enjoys getting stuck in trees even more. Worst of all is the (likely) event of striking a passer-by 100 feet (or yards!) away; the ring is so slim that it's almost impossible to see if it's heading straight at you!
Find an open field with no trees, take your most athletic friend, ease up on the throwing strength, and you can enjoy Aerobie Pro for hours. Neglect any of these things, and you'll be heading home in minutes.
